Ramsau am Dachstein has something to offer for every hiker, from gentle walks on the high plateau, over the mountain pastures, to the imposing south face of the Dachstein. All hiking wishes are catered for here with over 200km of well-marked hiking trails.
The Dachstein is a high alpine paradise for mountain hikers, walkers and climbers. A total of 17 via ferratas await you on the Ramsau am Dachstein high plateau. Climbers are rewarded with breathtaking views as far as the eye can see.
The via ferrata Kali for children and the Kala for juniors on Ramsau's "Kinderberg" were built as a special attraction of Ramsau's children's club. The via ferratas are secured especially for children and go from the old Ramsau grain mill to the peak of the Kinderberg.
Ramsau am Dachstein is already well known by cyclists and mountain bikers alike thanks to the "Dachsteinrunde". However, the region not only offers challenging mountain bike tours, you can also take a more leisurely approach and cycle through the marvellous scenery of the Ramsau high plateau and mountain pasture region.
